SRCTec Inc. recently won a $700 million contract to upgrade its counter-IED system for the U.S. Army. The project will lead to $25 million in subcontractor work in Upstate New York. This includes Anaren, Inc., a DeWitt-based company that develops and manufactures electronic components and subsystems for the wireless communications and defense sectors. SRCTec was also awarded a $15.4 million contract by the U.S. Army for three lightweight radar systems that detect mortars.
