The Chamber often hosts a multitude of events each month that are promoted to the entire Chamber membership as well as the greater Syracuse business community. Please review the many opportunities we offer below to determine if event sponsorship is right for your organization.  

 

Annual Meeting/Business of the Year

The Chamber's Annual Dinner/Business of the Year Awards attracts over 800 attendees and honors excellence in business. An award is presented to one company in each of the following categories: 50 or fewer employees, over 50 employees, a community involvement award, and a Non Profit Business Award. In addition to the prestigious awards ceremony, new board members are welcomed and retiring Board members are recognized. Business After Hours

Chamber members have the opportunity to host this popular Chamber event at their business location and provide food and beverages for approximately 100-150 attendees. This is a great chance to showcase your company and its facilities. Call (315) 470-1870 for details.

Chamber Business Show

One of the largest business gatherings in the Northeast, the Chamber Business Show showcases the amazing array of small and large firms that make up the Central New York business landscape.  Attracting over 7,000 attendees and featuring nearly 300 area businesses and organizations, this show is a great opportunity for you to connect with current and potential new customers. Clambake

This annual event takes place in August and draws over 1000 members. It is a great opportunity to network in a relaxed atmosphere. Call 470-1870 for details.


Economic Champions Celebration

Join over 500 members of the local business community to celebrate your successes over the past year. This high-energy, fast-paced event with a festive atmosphere recognizes member businesses for their contributions to the economic growth of the Central New York region through their capital expenditures, hiring of new employees - even one, expansion or relocation due to growth, and for state or national recognition. This annual luncheon focuses on our region's greatest assets - our business community and their hard-working employees. Call 470-1870 for details. 


Economic Forecast Luncheon

Over 600 fellow Chamber members, business leaders and executives gather at this annual luncheon for the presentation of the Economic Forecast. The Chamber’s annual forecast, released at the event, is compiled with the help of more than 150 Chamber members. These professionals, representing some 16 business sectors, meet with staff at the Chamber during December to develop the forecast’s findings and identify major trends and factors that will impact the region’s economy during the coming year. The results of these findings are published and presented at the January luncheon. Golf Outing

This popular event draws over 225 avid golfers every June. A special dinner and awards ceremony follows the event (morning and afternoon tee times). Several opportunities exist to join this event as a sponsor. Call (315) 470-1870 for details.
 

Government Relations Issues Conference

Held every year by the Chamber's Government Relations staff, members are invited to attend this two-day retreat to offer their suggestions and input for the upcoming year's legislative agenda. The conference always fraws speakers and presentations from a broad array of government and elected officials. Sponsorships for this yearly event range from $200 up to several thousand dollars. Multiple sponsors underwrite costs of the conference such as guest speakers travel, lodging & food, hospitality and wine with dinner; event memento, and other out-of-pocket expenses. Sponsors are featured in the Chamber newsletter, registration information, signage provided by the Chamber, and an announcement at the Chamber Board and Government Relations Committee meetings. Legislative Staff Reception

This event is unique and is held in honor of staffs of local elected officials. Staffers and public officials attend free of charge. Sponsorship underwrites catering, decorations, and memento bearing the sponsor, MACNY and Chamber logos. Sponsor credit is given in the Chamber newsletter and on the reception invitations themselves. Member Mixers

Our quarterly member mixers are a great networking opportunity and are always lots of fun. Each event has a special theme, such as our Octoberfest mixer in October, and attendance is free to all members. Delicious foods and drink are served and the events feature some special entertainment and a mini-trade show. Attendance averages between 200-300 guests. Cost of sponsorship for one of our Member Mixers is $1000. Call 470-1870 for details.

 

Membership Meetings

Programs to present speakers featuring relevant topics to the community business. Cost of sponsorship is $1,500. In return, your company will gain the following benefits:
