CenterState CEO's Business of the Year awards celebrate companies that have achieved growth and gone above and beyond in the past year to distinguish themselves as leaders in the business community. Awards are announced at CenterState CEO's Annual Meeting on April 4, 2012.
Award Categories and Nominiation Criteria:
Member Businesses with 1-50 Employees Criteria: • Provider of Choice • Financial Performance • Innovation • Employer of Choice • Commitment to Community |
Community Involvement Criteria: • Community Leadership • Fiscal Support of Event • Community Service |
Member Businesses with 50+ Employees Criteria: • Provider of Choice • Financial Performance • Innovation • Employer of Choice • Commitment to Community |
Non-Profit Agency Criteria: • Provider of Choice • Fiscal Stewardship • Innovation • Employer of Choice • Community Impact |
Members are encouraged to nominate deserving companies, including their own. Once nominated, questionnaires are sent to all nominated companies. A committtee of community business leaders reviews completed questionnaires and selects finalists in each category.
CenterState CEO/Chamber membership IS required for nomination. Companies that have won within the last five years cannot be nominated in the same category.
