Syracuse, N.Y. --(syracuse.com) Economic development officials from Central New York and the Mohawk Valley are preparing a joint pitch to Amazon for the online retailer's second headquarters.
"We're not going to, like other communities, go around and hire a consultant to put a fancy package together and send a 100-page submission," said Robert Simpson, president and CEO of Syracuse-based CenterState Corporation for Economic Opportunity. "But we're going to put some ideas on paper. We've got good partners we're working with."
