CenterState CEO congratulates 12 member businesses for their outstanding achievement over the past year. CenterState CEO’s Business of the Year finalists were selected from a competitive pool of more than 40 nominees that submitted applications for this honor. The high caliber applications made for a very competitive process with finalists determined by set criteria and reviewed by a committee.

A single company will be recognized in each category at CenterState CEO’s 2013 Annual Meeting.
CenterState CEO invites the community to discuss Re:Invention at its Annual Meeting. This year’s event, which is the region’s largest annual business luncheon, will be held April 8, at the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center at Oncenter, in Syracuse.
Kevin Warren the president of Xerox Corporation’s United States Operations will deliver the meeting’s keynote address, sharing the bold strategies that helped shape a new direction for Xerox. Kevin Warren, president of Xerox U.S., will present the keynote address highlighting Xerox’s culture of innovation and how embracing continuous renewal, at every level of the company has brought Xerox to new heights.
CenterState CEO will also announce its winner of the first Startup Labs Syracuse. Startup Labs Syracuse, is the region’s largest business competition with $350,000 in cash and prizes awarded to five teams. The goal of the new competition is to support the region’s entrepreneurs and accelerate their ideas to the marketplace. One of the five finalist teams will receive $200,000 in cash and prizes. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges after the competition’s demo day on February 7th. The demo day wraps up an intensive 22-day program where five finalists worked daily with more than 50 mentors and advisors at The Tech Garden. Each finalist received an initial $30,000 investment at the beginning of the program.
Syracuse is the first US city to host Startup Labs’ intense 22-day program. Only five other cities have hosted the program, worldwide, including: Istanbul, Turkey; Taipei, Taiwan; Mexico City, Mexico; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; New Delhi, India.
