CNY REDCThe Central New York Regional Development Council (CNY REDC) offers funding for projects that advance Central New York's strategy to grow the region. With the leadership and engagement from CenterState CEO, its members and community partners, Central New York received one of three $500 million Best Plan awards as part of Governor Cuomo’s Upstate Revitalization Initiative competition. This brings the state's investment in Central New York to $844 million, more than any region since the competition's inception. The New York State Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) is the single entry point for access to state economic development funding which is processed through the Regional Council.
