Syracuse, N.Y. -- (syracuse.com) Five startup companies involved in the drone industry have been chosen to compete in the third round of the year-long state-funded $3 million Genius NY business competition at the Syracuse Tech Garden.

The companies will compete for a total of $3 million in direct investment, with one grand prize of up to $1 million and four $500,000 awards.
