ARISE Open House Set for December 9, 2019

Go Back

ARISE will be opening its doors so the community can see the renovations that were made to our 635 James Street, headquarters in Syracuse, on Monday, December 9, 2019, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Come and see the newly renovated spaces for our after-school respite program, our growing outpatient mental health services and new small and large conference rooms for individual counseling or community meetings.

It was back in May 2019 when we started work on the substantial project to renovate all three floors of 635 James Street. This nearly $1 million project was funded by a competitive grant from New York’s Nonprofit Infrastructure Capital Investment Program. Our basement was transformed from a dark space with a dirt floor to beautiful bright rooms for our new After-School Respite Program, increased Independent Living services, and a large meeting and training room. We built new office and meeting space on the first and second floors to support our Community Habilitation and Mental Health Clinic services, and our reception area received a major facelift as well.

We encourage you to take a tour of the facility to see the many programs and services we offer to the Central New York community.
