Oneida Indian Nation Honors More Than 400 Local Veterans for Their Service to Country

As America’s First Allies, the Oneida Indian Nation’s legacy of supporting the United States military dates back to the Revolutionary War, when Oneidas fought alongside the colonists in the battle against the British.

In recognition of this long friendship, the Nation seeks to honor members of the armed forces with a range of activities throughout the year. This includes a Veterans Day celebration, job recruitment programs and meaningful partnerships with veterans organizations.
