The Tech and Culture Speaker Series is devoted to promoting diversity, inclusion, and belonging in tech related fields. The series aims to highlight diverse speakers who are currently leading in the tech industry and allow them to share their personal stories, which will inspire, motivate and transform the mindset of the diverse audiences.

Our first speaker of 2021 will be Damani Corbin, Vice President of Economic Development at Blacks on Wall Street Inc., a non-profit organization in NYC focused on closing the opportunity gap of underrepresented African Americans in Corporate America.  Damani is a double Alumni of Lemoyne College, where he obtained his B.A. in Marketing and MBA. Professionally, Damani works at a startup technology company called Weaveworks. In his role, Damani develops and implements sales strategies for Weaveworks Enterprise Sales Platform, WKP (Weave Kubernetes Platform). Along with scaling sales across the US, Damani is very active with Developer Experience as well as Field and Product Marketing Initiatives.
