What the Climate Leadership & Community Protection Act Means for Your Business

CenterState CEO will host a special virtual meeting of its Government Relations Committee on the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act so members can learn more and discuss the Draft Scoping Plan developed by the New York State Climate Action Council. The proposal seeks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 85% by 2050, with some changes starting much sooner.  Your car. Your clothes dryer.  Even the gas stove in your kitchen may be in for some serious changes in just a few years.  The stakes could be even higher for businesses. The path New York takes to this goal could be difficult, but it could also produce tremendous opportunities for new technologies and new businesses.  This meeting will feature a presentation from key state agencies engaged with the Council as it completes its work.
