Rosamond Gifford Zoo to Host ‘Noon Year’s Eve’ Party

Posted on December 15, 2025

Ring in 2026 with the Rosamond Gifford Zoo at our Noon Year’s Eve party! Families and friends are invited to celebrate on Wednesday, December 31, with a special daytime party at the zoo.

Noon Year’s Eve is a kid-friendly celebration that allows youngsters to experience all the fun of welcoming a new year without disrupting bedtime. The event features a dance party, photo ops, and ginger ale “toast,” all leading up to the countdown and ball drop at noon.

Festivities begin at 10 a.m. with a dance party and fun in the zoo’s banquet room. Be one of the first 1,000 guests to receive complimentary party hats, courtesy of Tops Friendly Markets. At 11:45 a.m., revelers head to the courtyard to receive free ginger ale and countdown for the noon ball drop. Party-goers are encouraged to explore and to enjoy the zoo during and after the party, as well. Zoo grounds will be open all day.

“We are excited to welcome everyone back for Noon Year’s Eve—which has quickly become a tradition for many families,” says Friends of the Zoo Executive Director Carrie Large. “Noon Year’s Eve gives children the chance to experience the joy of ringing in the new year before bedtime. We invite families to join us in celebrating a fantastic 2025 and looking forward to making more memories worth saving in 2026.”

This special event is free to zoo members and included with zoo admission.
